I was the assistant coordinator of this event for over five years and also built the website for the event which I currently run along with the social media pages for the event.

Liberty Events

I volunteered at the Liberty Makers Market, Bridal Expo, and Fashion Show, among others, and gained a wide variety of experience.

Eagle Scholars Social Connection Event

I met with the program director prior to the event to make sure all vendors were communicated with, everything was in place, and I developed the decor plan for the banquet prior to the event. I was also present day of to coordinate the set up and oversee volunteers.

Eagle Scholars Christmas Celebration

I met with the program director prior to the event to go over vendor contracts and understand the vision of the event. I developed the decor plan for the banquet prior to the event using a budget provided by the program and facilitated acquiring the items. I was also present on the day of to coordinate the setup, oversee volunteers, change slides, and solve any problems that may arise.

Unity in Chocolate Event

I worked with a friend and supervisors from the LU ONE program to create a decor plan within our $600 budget, acquire the items, set up the decor, and problem-solve to ensure everything was arranged perfectly to encapsulate the event's theme.

As the coordinator of the Grand Rapids 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb, it has been a pleasure working with Isabella over the past eight years. During this time our event has more than tripled in attendance, as well as funds raised for the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation.

 

Isabella is diligent, proficient, and eager to learn. This has allowed her to take on additional responsibility each year and learn all aspects of our event. She’s worked on marketing and promotion leading up to our event, operations the day of our event, and manages our social media platform throughout the year. I can trust that anything Isabella is working on will be done well.
